Birdie

Description

Birdie was disowned by her parents at birth for being a mutant with Visible mutations, her yellow, feathery ear wings. She was given to a lab for experimentation and grew up there under bad conditions. She was rescued by the X-Men, Gambit being the one to blow up the way open from her room and finding her. She was taken back to the X-Mansion and has stayed there since, eventually becoming an X-man herself after recovery. Her abilities are far sighted vision, percieving colors like a bird, flight, fast reflexes, and good balance. She can also sense the condition and weather of the area using her ear wings. She is also technically a living compass.

Gambit

Birdie is closest to Remy since she was rescued from her room by him. The two became best friends. Remy never felt like if he was a true hero, especially because of his past of being a thief, but Birdie seeing him as such affected him even if he didn't want to be. It made him want to grow and be better, to keep the stars in Birdie's eyes when she looks at him. The two of them eventually developed feelings for each other and pursued a romantic relationship.
